IT Business Lead, North East Asia (NEA)
Introduction
This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced IT professional to take on a leadership role aligning business and IT strategies across Japan, Korea, and Taiwan. Reporting to the APAC IT VP, this position plays a key role in driving technology solutions that support business objectives while delivering measurable outcomes.
About the Role
As the IT Business Lead for NEA, you will serve as the primary connection between business stakeholders and the IT organization. You will align strategic objectives with IT solutions, manage IT investments, and ensure the delivery of high-quality IT services. This role requires strong leadership, strategic thinking, and collaboration with global teams.
Responsibilities
- Align business and IT objectives at both strategic and tactical levels.
- Develop long-term business capability and technology roadmaps in line with business needs.
- Provide insights on industry trends to guide technology decisions and improve customer and employee experiences.
- Manage an annual IT investment portfolio and oversee the creation of investment proposals.
- Lead IT initiatives, ensuring projects meet scope, budget, and quality expectations.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to resolve roadblocks and balance priorities.
- Oversee risk management, regulatory compliance, and audit remediation efforts.
- Support business continuity and disaster recovery planning.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- 15+ years of IT experience, with at least 5 years in a business partnership role.
- Strong bilingual communication skills in Japanese and English.
- Proven ability to work in a matrix organization and collaborate with diverse teams.
- Exceptional problem-solving skills and a proactive mindset.
- Willingness to work under pressure and meet challenges head-on.
