Our client, a global IT consulting company, is seeking three experienced Program Managers to support their expanding insurance sector projects in Japan. These positions involve managing large-scale programs for well-established Japanese insurance clients, helping to broaden the scope of existing collaborations.
About the Role
The Program Manager roles require leadership in overseeing complex, large-scale projects involving multiple teams and stakeholders. You will work directly with senior executives while ensuring smooth coordination across program teams. Your expertise will help deliver impactful solutions tailored to the insurance and financial services industries.
Responsibilities
- Lead and manage large-scale programs involving 200+ personnel.
- Act as the primary point of contact for senior stakeholders, including CSO-level executives.
- Collaborate closely with internal teams to ensure alignment and program success.
- Define program objectives, develop detailed plans, and monitor progress to meet delivery timelines and quality standards.
- Proactively identify and address potential risks or issues impacting program outcomes.
- Provide clear reporting and communication to all relevant stakeholders.
Requirements
- Language Skills:
- Strong Japanese language proficiency (minimum JLPT N2; JLPT N1 preferred).
- Ability to communicate effectively in English for internal and external interactions.
- Experience:
- Extensive experience in program management, including managing programs of 200+ team members.
- Demonstrated ability to engage and build trust with senior stakeholders, such as CSO-level executives.
- Familiarity with the insurance domain is a strong advantage, though candidates with a financial services background will also be considered.
