Introduction

We are seeking a Senior Enterprise Architect to lead and manage the enterprise architecture for our international operations. This role is critical for ensuring that technology strategies align with organizational goals, enhancing efficiency, and supporting cost-effective solutions across all regions except Japan.

About the Role

The Senior Enterprise Architect will oversee the development and implementation of enterprise architecture across various countries. The role involves working with both global and local stakeholders to craft architecture plans and ensure that technology deployment aligns with business objectives. Strong communication skills are essential to articulate the value of enterprise architecture and facilitate understanding across all levels of the organization.

Responsibilities

• Stakeholder Communication: Collaborate with business leaders and technical staff to ensure alignment and understanding of enterprise architecture goals and processes.
• Architecture Governance: Apply global and local architecture governance processes and practices to guide technology initiatives.
• Initiative Guidance: Lead and guide projects and initiatives in business, application, data, and technology architecture.
• Roadmap Creation: Develop architecture roadmaps and designs to support the organization's strategic objectives.
• Portfolio Management: Oversee application portfolio management to ensure technology efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
• Policy Maintenance: Maintain IT and architecture policies, standards, and guidelines to support consistent practices.
• Training Development: Create training materials and resources to promote the understanding and implementation of enterprise architecture.
• Domain Architecture: Drive the creation and integration of domain architectures across the organization.

Requirements

• Experience: 10+ years in enterprise or solution architecture, with at least 5 years in senior engineering or infrastructure roles.
• Education: Master’s degree or equivalent in a technical field.
• Certification: Preferably holds an Enterprise Architecture certification.
• Knowledge: Strong understanding of software engineering practices, architecture methodologies, and Enterprise Architecture frameworks and tools.
• Leadership: Proven ability to lead teams and manage customer relationships effectively.
• Financial Acumen: Knowledge of financial metrics and their impact on business decisions.
• Skills: Excellent documentation and communication skills, with proficiency in both English and Japanese.
• Methodologies: Experience working with Agile or Waterfall project methodologies.
