Introduction:

Are you a seasoned sales professional with a deep understanding of structured investment products? We are seeking a Vice President of Corporate Sales to drive growth in FX and IR products for corporate clients. This role offers a dynamic opportunity to leverage your expertise in both sales and relationship management to achieve significant business outcomes while ensuring adherence to compliance standards.


About the Role:

As the Vice President of Corporate Sales, you will be responsible for marketing and selling foreign exchange (FX) and interest rate (IR) products, as well as other investment solutions, to corporate clients. You will focus on developing new business opportunities, enhancing direct sales efforts, and achieving budget goals. Your role will also involve ensuring that product recommendations align with client sophistication to mitigate risks of mis-selling and future liabilities.


Responsibilities:

  • Market and sell FX, IR, and other investment products to corporate clients.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the corporate client portfolio.
  • Develop and manage direct sales strategies for FX products, both on the liability and asset sides.
  • Achieve the Net Banking Income (NBI) budget in collaboration with business line management.
  • Ensure product suitability for clients and maintain high standards of compliance to avoid mis-selling risks.
  • Undergo annual evaluations focusing on risk control and compliance handling due to the impact of the role on the Group’s risk profile.


Requirements:

  • Over 5 years of experience in sales for structured investment products, preferably within a securities company or bank.
  • Extensive knowledge of structured investment products and their applications.
  • Proven track record in developing and managing client relationships.
  • Strong communication skills in both English and Japanese.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
