The VP of Sales will be responsible for developing and executing sales strategies to enhance the overall performance of the sales team. The role includes managing sales processes, identifying new business opportunities, building strong client relationships, and setting and achieving sales targets. Responsibilities:
- Sales Strategy Development and Execution: Create and implement both long-term and short-term sales strategies based on market trends and competitor analysis. Optimize sales processes for greater efficiency.
- Leadership and Management of the Sales Team: Set goals, evaluate performance, and support team members. Conduct regular meetings, training sessions, and plan recruitment and development initiatives.
- Identifying and Developing New Business Opportunities: Generate and update sales lists, initiate contact with potential clients through cold outreach, and prepare proposals. Manage the sales pipeline effectively.
- Building and Strengthening Relationships with Existing Clients: Enhance customer satisfaction, identify upselling and cross-selling opportunities, and conduct regular reviews with clients.
- Setting and Achieving KPIs and Sales Targets: Define and manage sales targets, monitor KPIs, analyze outcomes, and implement improvements.
- Market Analysis and Strategic Proposals: Prepare reports on market trends and competitor activities, and implement strategic proposals based on this analysis.
- Collaboration and Coordination with Cross-Functional Teams: Work with marketing, product, and customer support teams. Lead cross-functional projects and improve feedback loops.
- Managing and Closing Sales Deals and Schedules: Oversee the progress and closing of sales deals, negotiate contracts, and manage schedules and follow-ups.
- Providing Advice and Skill Development to Sales Team Members: Offer guidance, support, and training to enhance sales skills and problem-solving capabilities.
Requirements:
- Experience: Over 5 years in a sales management role, preferably within the B2B SaaS industry.
- Skills: Excellent leadership, team management, communication, and negotiation skills. Ability to make data-driven decisions and think strategically.
- Attributes: High motivation, goal achievement orientation, and strong problem-solving skills.
Preferred Experiences:
- Knowledge or experience in the tourism industry.
- Multilingual abilities, especially in English and Japanese.
