About the Role:
The Fixed Income Product Manager will serve as a specialist within the Fixed Income team, responsible for assessing business opportunities, developing new investment products, and managing client relationships. This role will require close collaboration with sales teams and other business divisions to support clients' investment needs and differentiate the company's product offerings in the market.
Responsibilities:
- Act as the product expert for fixed income solutions, leading business planning and development of new products and investment strategies.
- Differentiate the company's fixed income products by developing product offerings for both institutional clients and retail distributors.
- Develop and implement a communication strategy, including preparing product presentations, compiling RFPs and RFIs, and delivering strategy review decks on client products and portfolios.
- Monitor and manage fixed income portfolios and positions, including overseeing FX hedge, investment funds, and fund of funds for Japan-domiciled investment trusts.
- Serve as a liaison between the firm and external clients, working closely with business colleagues to support the overall fixed income business development efforts.
- Collaborate with internal teams and external clients, providing support and guidance on investment strategies and product solutions.
Requirements:
- Strong knowledge of fixed income investment strategies.
- Experience in either institutional client servicing or retail product marketing is preferred.
- Excellent communication and coordination skills, with the ability to engage effectively with both internal teams and external parties, including international colleagues.
- Proven ability to collaborate in a team environment, maintaining a client-centric approach.
- Comfortable in preparing and delivering presentations, as well as managing documents such as RFPs, RFIs, and product guidelines.
- Self-starter with strong analytical thinking and proactive problem-solving abilities.
- Proficiency in business-level English.
- Advanced PC skills, including MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Experience with databases such as eVestment or Morningstar is a plus.
