We are looking for a seasoned professional to join our team as the Director of Investments Client Service - Distribution in London. This role is crucial for enhancing client relationships and supporting the APAC Distribution team, with a focus on UK-based clients. About the Role
The Director will play a key role in managing client relationships and ensuring the growth and retention of client assets. You will collaborate closely with client service colleagues and distribution teams to understand client needs and provide exceptional service. This position requires a proactive approach to client engagement and a commitment to continuous improvement in service delivery.
Responsibilities
- Work alongside the APAC distribution team to ensure seamless service coverage, aligning with global client service standards while addressing local market needs.
- Assist with onboarding new clients and conducting operational due diligence to understand their requirements.
- Liaise with third-party administrators and custodians to facilitate client account setup and manage escalations.
- Coordinate regular reporting requirements, handle client queries and requests, and resolve any issues or complaints.
- Communicate with clients on day-to-day matters, ensuring timely and accurate delivery of services.
- Support the Client Service Delivery team and Sales teams with contractual matters and client communications.
- Foster relationships with key stakeholders, attending client meetings and collaborating with fund managers and custodians.
- Adopt and promote global Client Service Delivery processes and ensure client servicing systems are used effectively.
Requirements
- Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to provide updates and manage expectations for internal and external stakeholders.
- In-depth understanding of client needs and a commitment to putting clients at the center of service delivery.
- Proven accountability and ownership of tasks to align with service standards.
- Ability to drive positive change and embrace innovation within the team.
- At least 5-10 years of industry experience in a similar client-facing role.
- Fluency in Japanese is a strong advantage, along with a deep understanding of Asian and Japanese market practices.
