About the Role:

As a Bilingual E-Commerce Platform Engineer, you will oversee all stages of E-Commerce platform implementation. This includes analyzing business needs, designing solutions, managing technical architecture, and executing projects. You will collaborate with both onshore (Japan) and offshore teams, ensuring seamless communication and delivery. This role involves working with a variety of E-Commerce platforms to support clients' business strategies effectively.

Responsibilities:

• Organize and analyze business challenges to define system requirements.
• Manage E-Commerce platform implementation projects using agile or waterfall methodologies.
• Design and oversee integration between E-Commerce platforms and core systems (e.g., ERP).
• Collaborate with global teams in a hybrid work environment.
• Build strong partnerships with stakeholders and partner companies.

Requirements:

• Over 5 years of experience with the development, implementation, or maintenance of E-Commerce platforms such as SAP Commerce Cloud, Salesforce Commerce Cloud, or Adobe Commerce.
• Proven experience as a project manager or team leader.
• Proficiency in Japanese and English at a business level or higher.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Certifications related to E-Commerce platforms or IT services.
• Experience in consulting firms or implementing packaged solutions like ERP/CRM/SFA/MA.
• Enterprise sales experience.
• Familiarity with IT frameworks (ITIL/PMBOK).
• Knowledge of generative AI tools and applications.
