Introduction:
We are looking for a skilled professional to join the Export Sales and Project Group in a dynamic role responsible for expanding business and managing key projects in the export market. This position involves both sales and project management functions, including customer development, relationship maintenance, and handling projects from acquisition through completion.
About the Role:
This role reports to the Export Sales Manager and is based in Tokyo. The primary focus is to drive new customer development related to export business, promote company products and services, manage projects, and ensure smooth transitions after project completion.
Responsibilities:
- Develop new customers in the export Original Equipment (OE) business.
- Maintain strong relationships with domestic stakeholders, including vehicle manufacturers and trading companies, related to export business.
- Collaborate with related groups to establish export sales strategies (including STRAP and MTP).
- Promote company products and services to relevant customers.
- Gather and analyze information about export projects.
- Prepare and finalize contracts for acquired export projects.
- Manage the project from contract through to warranty expiration.
- Oversee the handover of projects to local teams after the warranty period.
- Control the budget and implementation of export projects, ensuring alignment with MTP, budget, and financial requirements (PLUPS, BSC, IFRS, and monthly control).
Requirements:
- Experience in new customer development, particularly in B2B sales of mechanical products.
- Strong understanding of export business processes.
- Proficient in Japanese and English at a business level.
- Experience in tender preparation, including BSC calculations, quotations, and technical proposal coordination.
