About the Role:
The Sales Relationship Manager will be responsible for building and maintaining relationships with a variety of financial institutions, including mega banks, trust banks, life insurers, regional banks, and specialized financial institutions. The successful candidate will be expected to drive sales performance, acquire new mandates, and ensure that client needs are met with tailored investment solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage relationships with a portfolio of financial institutions within your designated territory.
- Identify the investment needs and objectives of clients, offering customized solutions to meet their requirements.
- Work closely with internal resources, including product managers and leadership, to drive new business and retain existing mandates.
- Stay informed of industry trends, regulations, and market developments that could impact clients and overall business strategies.
- Support team activities and contribute to the development of strategic initiatives.
- Ensure high-level client satisfaction through proactive and effective communication.
Requirements:
- A Bachelor's degree or higher is required; CFA certification is a plus.
- Proven experience in sales and marketing within the financial services industry, particularly with mega banks, insurance companies, and regional banks.
- Strong understanding of the Japanese financial market and investment products.
- Excellent teamwork skills and the ability to collaborate across departments and geographies.
- Native-level proficiency in Japanese, with fluency in English (both written and verbal).
