Introduction:

We are seeking a Senior Technology Project Manager for a leading global FinTech company.

This role, based in Tokyo, involves managing enterprise software solutions for treasury management.

About the Role:

As a Senior Technology Project Manager, you will oversee the implementation of enterprise software from sales contract through testing.

You will manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring successful delivery on schedule and within budget.

Responsibilities:

• Plan and coordinate all project aspects from initiation to delivery.

• Develop project plans, define scope, activities, schedules, budgets, and deliverables.

• Identify and allocate resources, defining major project roles.

• Create project charters and manage work plans.

• Oversee project schedules and budgets to ensure goals are met.

• Manage risks, issues, and progress to ensure project objectives are achieved.

• Customize base products to meet client requirements and manage system integration.

• Deliver presentations to technical and business groups.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, management information systems, business administration, or equivalent experience.

• Minimum 8 years of experience in managing technical projects.

• Extensive knowledge of project management standards, processes, and methodologies.

• Familiarity with project management software, such as MS Project.

• Strong communication skills in both Japanese (native level) and English (business level).

• Experience in the financial services industry and with treasury management systems is a plus.
