About the Role

This leadership role involves developing and executing sales strategies, building high-performing teams, and driving operational efficiency to achieve ambitious revenue and margin targets. The position focuses on enhancing customer satisfaction, optimizing sales processes, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

Sales

  • Build and strengthen a robust sales structure to capitalize on market opportunities in Japan.
  • Expand the dealer network and define clear boundaries between direct and indirect sales channels.
  • Develop and implement strategic sales and marketing initiatives to drive revenue and margins.
  • Cultivate strategic partnerships to unlock new commercial opportunities.
  • Ensure accurate sales forecasting through systematic reviews and updates.
  • Streamline the sales cycle and ensure consistency in the sales process.
  • Drive the effective use of CRM tools to improve productivity and align sales and marketing efforts.

General Management

  • Define business objectives, set financial targets, and implement strategies aligned with corporate goals.
  • Oversee financial performance and prepare management reports for strategic decision-making.
  • Lead business transformation initiatives across multiple functions.
  • Foster a culture of learning, collaboration, and operational excellence.
  • Implement enterprise systems and best practices to improve efficiency and standardization.

Requirements

Education & Experience

  • Degree in Engineering, Sales/Marketing, Business Administration, Finance, or IT; MBA preferred.
  • Approximately 15 years of sales and management experience, with a proven network in the Japanese market.
  • Industry expertise in B2B industrial services, particularly in pre-press packaging.
  • Strong experience managing cross-functional teams and P&L responsibilities.

  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • High emotional intelligence and people management abilities.
  • Willingness to travel frequently within Japan.
