Andy Sorokin is a Principal Consultant at Makana Partners. He has over 14 years of executive search experience, focusing on senior-level technology hiring across Japan and the Asia-Pacific region.

Andy’s practice centers on technology, consulting, enterprise software, cloud platforms, product management, engineering, and digital transformation. He partners with multinationals, global consulting firms, start-ups, and high-growth technology companies to identify bilingual mid-career and executive talent. Beyond IT, he has placed senior leaders across industrial, manufacturing, life sciences, healthcare, insurance, consumer goods, advertising, and travel and tourism.

Prior to joining Makana Partners, Andy was a Principal IT Executive Search Consultant at a boutique search firm, where he led senior assignments for Tier 1 IT companies and global consulting firms. His placements include Country Manager, Associate Partner, Sales Director, and senior engineering leadership roles across Japan and Singapore.

Andy holds a Bachelor’s degree in Economics.
