Ken Lok

Ka Heng ‘Ken’ Lok is a Senior Associate at Makana Partners based in Japan. Partnering with a highly seasoned consulting team, his responsibilities include candidate sourcing, channel optimization, and data management.

Prior to executive search, Ken held various sales, marketing, and customer-service roles in the technology and consumer-electronics industries. He’s lived and worked in the Netherlands, Finland, Hong Kong, and Japan, and speaks fluent Dutch, Cantonese, English, Japanese, French, and conversational German and Finnish. His upbringing has equipped him with learning agility and an understanding of various cultures.

Ken studied at the Lahti University of Applied Sciences in Finland and graduated with distinction with a Bachelor of Business Administration in international business. Besides supporting clients, candidates, and society in general, he’s highly passionate about badminton and all things relating to Japanese culture.
