Forward Deployed Engineer (FDE)

Introduction

We are currently supporting a search for a Forward Deployed Engineer to join a fast-growing AI software company in Tokyo. Our client builds AI products used by businesses across Japan. This role sits at the point where the product meets the customer.

About the Role

As a Forward Deployed Engineer in the AI software industry, you will work directly with customers to understand their workflows and turn them into working solutions on our client’s platform. You will configure and extend the product, build integrations, and bring what you learn in the field back to the product and engineering teams.

Responsibilities

Customer Solutions *Work with customers to define technical requirements and success criteria *Design and deliver tailored solutions on the platform

Integration and Delivery *Build and maintain integrations with customer systems through APIs *Troubleshoot technical issues in live customer environments

Product Feedback *Share field insights with product and engineering teams *Help turn repeated customer needs into product features
