5 Game-Changing HR Opportunities in Tokyo

CHRO, Head of HR, Talent Management, HR Business Partner
  1. CHRO – FinTech Start-up – Tokyo

We are currently conducting a search for the Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO) at a very unique FinTech company based in Tokyo. The CHRO will report directly to the Founder and CEO and will lead a small team.

By providing a system like “Financial Service Infrastructure” (Financial Service Cloud Infrastructure), various non-financial businesses (distribution, transportation, Internet, etc.) that have strong customer contacts can launch financial services including securities and insurance by incorporating it into their existing services. The company’s cloud-native, API-driven financial infrastructure enables dramatically lower initial costs, pay-as-you-go operational costs, rapid development, and scalable system design compared to the past.

Several of the company’s startup members are still with the company, and it is a stable company with 70% of the company being employee-owned, with the possibility of an IPO in the future.

Some of the things that are expected of a CHRO are recruitment, training, evaluation, and engagement of people. Rather than someone who has worked in the HR department of a large corporation, the candidate for this role does not necessarily need to be an HR specialist, as long as you have the desire to work very closely with the CEO in a venture company and make a small company grow, or have experience in going public. English language skills are not a prerequisite, but will give you an advantage in the selection process. Excellent performers may be offered stock options in addition to cash compensation.
